Vineyard in winter
This is the time for pruning. The vine retains the branches of the previous year, devoid of leaves, flowers or fruit. It is necessary to remove the branches from the previous year, leaving only two branches and 10 to 30 buds per vine depending on the variety and the previous crop. In winter, pruning is done by cutting the branches of the previous season. The grape yield in the following harvest will depend on how the vine is pruned. This is when the soil should be cleaned and made, treating the soil to prevent fungal diseases.
